Hello,

when we use single quote (') for the custom titles of categories or products, they are stored in DB as ' so the title show ' instead of single quote.
Should be corrected.

But does anyone have the same behaviour on this ?
thanks  :)

Yes,

we use override in template and convert html entities in title to normal text.

But primary we learn admin - don't use non-standard char in title :D
www.minijoomla.org  - new portal for Joomla!, Virtuemart and other extensions
XML Easy Feeder - feeds for FB, GMC,.. from products, categories, orders, users, articles, acymailing subscribers and database table
Virtuemart Email Manager - customs email templates
Import products for Virtuemart - from CSV and XML
Rich Snippets - Google Structured Data
VirtueMart Products Extended - Slider with products, show Others bought, Products by CF ID and others filtering products

Thanks, I know that.

But this is a standard char, only difference is that you must enclosed it in double quotes nor escape with backslash if it could be interpreted as a code.
I mean everybody use ' Who really use ’ in titles ?

And Joomla itself do not have this bug, and virtuemart standard title do not have it too.
So why is virtuemart's custom title not treated the same?

Even if it is saved as an html entity, on display the entity should be interpreted and not literally displayed.
So I will check the template again just in case.  ::)
