Buoansera,

I have joomla 3.9.8 - Virtuemart 3.4.3

I want to update vm to version 3.6.0

but when I load the file com_virtuemart.3.6.0.10113.zip it stops at 4% and it is impossible to reach the site..What am I doing? Why now there are also pkg_virtuemart.xml and script.vmpackage.php files in the installation files ... what are they for? thanks
Currently using VM3.2.1 on Joomla 3.7.0  - PHP 7.0

you should be using http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/1198/com_virtuemart.3.6.2.10159_package_or_extract.zip -- and 3.6.4 will be released in a day or two

the package files are there as it can be installed as a package .. works fine for me.. if not just extract and install the comp and AIO separately

Why just to vm3.6.0? a x.y.0 version is often a bit more buggy than x.y.6 (for example). You should directly update to vm3 com_virtuemart.3.6.4.10187.zip

We provide now Virtuemart as Package. How many hours I lost by creating the AIO, I would do it now with a package.
The package installs The core, AIO, Tcpdf, vmbeez3 (for testing purposes) and the admin template all in one.

But quite a lot servers allow only 2 mb for uploads. So you can also just extract the packages and install the zips manually. Manually means here to dragn drop the file in the joomla extension installer.

Here is the Core, the aio, the packages and the fullinstaller, use directly the last version, 3.6.4
