Completly disable invoices

Hello! I have created a new order status called "invoice" with code "Y" and set "order status for invoice creation" to the newly created "invoice" status. (in the screenshot "Fatturato" is "invoice").
But when i place an order and it's still "confirmed by shopper" Virtuemart creates the invoice so i can't delete the order.
Am i missing something? How can i completly disable invoice creation? As in Italy now we have the electronic invoice so it has to be created by an external program.

Joomla 3.9.1 and virtuemart 3.2.14

In VM Configuration/Orders set Status to create Invoice to None.
