Do not allow Add To Cart Until Varriants have been Chosen

Hello again you fine people at VM.

I would like to be able to make sure that the shopper follows this journey:

1st - Select the product they are interested in. (without seeing the add to cart button at this point)

2nd - After selecting the product, they must select size, color (any varriants) etc, ONLY then being able to ADD TO CART

Is this possible and could you show me how?

depends on your setup but normally it would be child products and an unorderable parent
