HTML stripped out on save for everyone except superusers

I see this has been raised in the past but I can't see any resolved threads ... any help appreciated.

Essentially, VM appears not to use the Joomla text filter settings, and on our website when any editors in the Administrator group edit a product description, all HTML formatting is stripped out and the text is reduced to one long unformatted string. Formatting is retained if I edit products (as Superuser).

Formatting is retained if Administrators or Superuser edit Joomla articles. We use the JCE editor but TinyMCE gives the same problem.

As I understand it this is by design .. perhaps try and adjust by the "Permissions"  (ACL) on the products page

Brilliant, works like a charm ! I set "Allow raw input" and "Allow HTML" for my Administrator group and it now saves all formatting.

Thanks so much, I've been looking at this on-and-off for months without success.
