Virtuemart does not 'redirect' after cciDEAL payment

I'm building an ecommerce site using Joomla 3.5.1, VirtueMart 3.0.16 and ccIDEAL 4.5.4.

Actually I'm building two sites with the above mentioned software on the same development machine/server. One website works like a charm, after making a 'dummy' payment with iDEAL it redirects to VirtueMart, updates the status of the order and sends out the email to admin and customer.

But the other site does not. After making the 'dummy' payment with iDEAL it does NOT redirect to Virtuemart/Joomla. In stead it displays a completely 'white' screen (no code loaded).

When I use one of the other 'dummy' iDEAL payment statusses (like 'denied', 'cancelled', etc.) these are CORRECTLY redirected to Virtuemart showing the status of the payment (being denied, cancelled et cetera).

So the redirecting mechanism does work, sort of, but only with the 'non paid' statusses, the 'paid' status results in a white screen.

Can someone please give me some hints on where to start trouble shooting? As far as I know nothing is logged in the Joomla log files nor in the Virtuemart logfiles...

I must admit I did alter the Orde statusses, I replaced the 'COM_VIRTUEMART_ORDER_STATUS_PENDING', 'COM_VIRTUEMART_ORDER_STATUS_SHIPPED' with Dutch terms on the 'error' site. But I have changed this back to the original terms. I also updated the database table so the 'modified_on' and 'modified_by' fields do again display '0000-00-00 00:00:00' and '0' respectively. But that didn't solve it....

It drives me crazy!!!

as cciDEAL is a commercial plugin surely they should help u with this?

I'm 99,9% sure it isn't the plugin but a setting somewhere in VirtueMart....

Yes, itemid and lang are both empty.

Are these the source of my problem?

Thanks for the link to the white page error resolving, but that doesn't help...
