checkout now button just reloads page

the site has been working, this issue appeared - I have updated virtuemart and joomla to latest versions

it also seemed to be failing to accept/recognise new users via virtuemart - also I have set that now as not required

any ideas?

did u also update this evostore template?
try with the standard protostar template?

appears yours has no messaging -- I can submit an empty cart and no error or message shows

I did the following

1) downloaded a new version of evostore template that I am using
2) created a copy of the template via admin - /templates/evostore-test
3) uploaded via ftp the new template files to this location
4) applied this as a the default template for the cart page to check if this solved the issue - but it didn't

Was this the correct way of doing it?

Any other ideas?

try with the standard protostar template and no over rides?

if it works the problem is your template

thanks - yes - it is the template. Is it possibly a script confilct?

I've assigned protostar to the cart as a temporary measure

I can see these are should be specified by vm2-remove_from_cart, vm2-add_quantity_cart classes - but which css file should they be in?
