Product name with 20x in not working correctly

We have problem with product name like "Fast karm TFK 20x21". updating price when choose some custom fields makes site hangup.
If we changing name to "Fast karm TFK 20 X 21" or "Fast karm TFK 20*21" everything works fine.

Any ideas?

It is not only 20x, it seems to be 0x that causes the problem.

Hi nittioettan,

This looks like a tricky one to get to the bottom of.  0x is a method sometimes used to represent hexadecimal numbers so my guess would be to start thinking about how Virtuemart / what ever else is translating this.  I'm not sure if it will be any use but try turning debug mode for Joomla on in the system section of global configuration.

We should then hopefully get a little more information about the problem.  Post what you find and I'll do what I can to help.
