Hi!

I am doing my second shop in Joomla/VM and so far so good, except one thing! The language in VM will not show as the default set in Joomla.

I am using Swedish frontend and Backend in Joomla, works perfect. I havent set up the shop as multilingual in VM but still everything comes up as english in Virtuemart.

Not really sure of where to look now, tried most of what i could find in the forums.

Any idea of why the store still is english? Something i have seen is that the field of multilingual shop keeps filling in Swedish even if i empty it. I guess that is since you must have at least on language picked, even if the system picks swedish itself it will not read out frontend or backend in the VM module but works perfect in the Joomla part of the site.

have u installed Swedish lang in VM?

Where can I confirm that? If I look on my ftp it seems so since the catalogues is there and the content looks relevant.

Appreciate if you send the place of where to look to confirm.

Thanks!

If you can select 'Swedish' in the VM configuration > Language settings, it is installed. But if you are not sure, just download the latest Swedish language packs from here: http://virtuemart.net/community/translations
Also check if you accidentally added swedish product descriptions into the English language xxxxx_virtuemart_products_en_gb database table. instead of _virtuemart_products_sv_se table. Category data and manufacturer data also should be in ...sv-se tables.

I have the same problem. I can select "Dutch" and the rest of the website is in Dutch, but Virtuemart is still English.
