Product end date (availability by dates)

VirtueMart 3.0.11.4

What I did in the back-office is creating a new date for availability end date, while adding a new field to the product's database.
I'm trying to to achieve a way to hide products automatically after a certain date.

I guess there's an SQL change i could make in order for it to sync with my new field ($product_end_date).
Anyone can think of a solution?
