Error on adding to cart after upgrade

I have upgraded my joomla from 2.5 to 3 and upgraded to the latest version on virtumart everything work until i add a product to the cart and i get the error '1054 - Unknown column 'cart' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT * FROM `vniek_virtuemart_userfields` .....

Not sure where to go with this can anyone help

You don't say which VM version you updated from, but try "Install or if necessary update tables " under Tools (on a backup of course).
