Alternative shipping address problems

When a client completes the "alternative shipping address", this comes through with the order details fine unless there is a problem with the checkout (such as wrong credit card details entered) and then when the customer re-enters the details correctly, the order is sent through WITHOUT the alternative shipping address.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Can you test with VM3.0.12?  There have been a lot of bugfixes since 3.0.9
