MYSQL Issue with VM 3.0.12

Hi Guys

Using VM 3.0.12 on a JA Techzone Template. Everything downloaded and installed as of 14/11/2015

I've had some problems trying to create a PayPal sandbox account to test purchasing. Anyway, during that process, when ordering an item I hvae been getting a 1054 message just after clicking on Confirm Purchase. This message contains

I read a similar post that suggested that the error lies in the MYSQL database (his was for a different table) so I took a look using myphpadmin and yep, 'order_create_invoice_pass' does not appear in the table 'bgp_virtuemart_orders'. However, not being a coding guru, or a MYSQL wizard, I have no idea how to fix this problem. All I know is that at the moment, I have a VM site that doesn't appear to work or have any chance of working until this error is fixed.

Be grateful for a nudge in the right direction, either suggests or practical help.

Slowly dragging myself forward.

Although I had reinstalled VM 3.0.12 again yesterday (i'd originally used the JA Techzone quickstart package which was a bit of a mess) I thought I'd do it again today just in case it resolved the problem. Well, it did!! I have no idea what changed since yesterday but the missing table fields were created and now when I checkout I see what I am sending to PayPal (although at the moment it's hanging and not actually getting there).

So, one problem down, next one to solve. Hope my experience helps others with a similar issue.

my suspicion is the install script times out before all tasks are completed

try upping your php max_execution_time etc
