Shopper field dropdown list disable default selection

Ok guys.

I see where the default is not supposed to be allowed, however it is being allowed when you are using a dropdown field for your shopper field,
this field displays on the bottom of the checkout form as it requires some additional info.

Steps to Reproduce

go to configuration shopper fields, create a new field and make it a select field.

add your values and then on the default value make it your --- select --- and s value.

example <listID>      <value>
               S                 - Select-
              1                 Option 1
              2               Option 2

it is supposed to disable the default selection but it is not.

ANy hints or fixes that i can apply on this, or if anyone has enountered the same types of errors please let me know

Interesting idea to disable it in some dropdowns. Please test vm3.0.11.4, there is imho a fix for it
