Shopping Cart is loading someone else's cart

When a customer is shopping and adding items to cart, commonly the cart page will load another user's cart with that user's information and items?  I think this probably has to do with sessions but really have no idea what the problem is.

VM 2.6.14  Joomla 2.5.28

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
