Child product - dropdown selectbox - hide "no stock"

Hello,
is it possible to hide child products in the dropdown selectbox at the parent product? It might be quite annoying for customers (e.g. looking for a special size or color) to click through every child to find out whether this is on stock or not.

In the dropdown formular would be the option wfor "disabled" depending on the stock of the child.
