need ot use plgVmConfirmedOrder in extended plugin

I am  trying to call an api on order confirm, i set some setting form for api with extended plugin as menu in backedn , but when i am trying to call plgVmConfirmedOrder it not work in vmExtendedPlugin  , i checked docs and it says it is method used under payment and custom plugin only, please help how i can use it withing extended plugin.
