Documentation on new payment gateway

Hi.

Is there any recent documentation on how to create a payment method for VM 3? I simply cannot develop one if there is no documentation.
Does anybody got a clear good example laying around somewhere that I might look in to?

afaik there isn't any "how to build a VM payment gateway" docs....

But there are plenty of core bundled ones so it is just a case of looking at the code to see what one suits the best.. that's what I do... they all work in a similar manner ..
Probably paypal std. is the easiest to understand
