COM_VIRTUEMART_JS_STRINGS and its translations got ignored

virtuemart version:  3.0.8
Custom, iStraxx custom size  1.16.0

customfield does show 'Select an Option' from COM_VIRTUEMART_JS_STRINGS

but it doesnt show the translated strings which are awayable in the language i want.

somehow virtuemart doesnt look for translations for that thing

It can happen, when you have an old file in the "/administrator/language" folder. Just delete it. The new location for language files is the plugin itself.

i dont think deleting that files might be a solution for that,
where else than "/administrator/language" is a translation for 'Select an Option'  ?

the only places where it seems to be defined are: COM_VIRTUEMART_JS_STRINGS and "chosen.jquery.js" and "chosen.jquery.min.js"

and yes i am sure that its not from JGLOBAL_SELECT_AN_OPTION which might be more sense because that is 'Select an option' and not 'Select an Option' like i does see.
