Email order confirmed

Hello,
the My versions are: Joomla! 2.5.28 end VirtueMart 2.6.16 - Paypal plugin version 2.6.16.2
After the latest update of virtuemart end plugin paypal no longer receiving the order confirmation email.
I get only the paypal email that confirms that the order has been paid.
I also noticed that the order remains in (pending state)
Please can you help me to solve?
