Error: 1242 Subquery returns more than 1 row on upgrade from 3.0.4 to 3.0.6

I get this error when I try to install / upgrade VM 3.0.6 from VM 3.0.4. I downloaded the extract_first.zip file with a date of 2/20/2015 and timestamp of 7:16pm.
