Different badges for different shopper groups

Hi, we have some shopper groups for both retail and wholesale customers. When wholesale customers log in, they see the SALE badge for all products, as the wholesale shopper group is set to discount prices. Is there a way to assign different badges for different shopper groups, maybe via css? Or does anyone know of a plugin that might be able to perform this?

can't be difficult - just detect the shopper group in the template and go from there...
