Original and Sales Price showing on products without discounts

Hi there

I am running Joomla! 2.5 and VirtueMart 2.6.12.2

In order to show original price (with a strikethrough) and new discounted price I have set up my pricing configuration to show both Baseprice with Tax, but without discounts and Final salesprice.

I have created a calculation rule of -10% Price Modifier After Tax to apply a discount. I only wanted the discount to apply to certain categories which I selected in the Product Category section in the discount rule.

Everything is working as it should on the Product details pages:
• Products within the category that is discounted show both the original price (now with a strikethrough) and the newly discounted price
• Products within categories that are not discounted show just the original price

However, on the category layout page, ALL products are showing both prices (Baseprice with Tax, but without discounts AND Final salesprice) regardless of whether they are in a category with a discount applied.

Can any one advise what could be the issue with my category layout page? Any help is much apprecated

Hi everybody
I have the same problem here.
All the product on sales category have both, Baseprice with Tax, but without discounts and Final salesprice, this is fine.

But the trouble is that, all the product that are not in the category with discount show the same price twice, one is underlined.

Please need help...

What is the difference in price setup between "Tête de lit MORTAGNE - 160"  and  "Tête de lit FOURAS – 140/160"  - the first only shows one price. (on page http://ma-tete-de-lit.com/index.php/tetes-de-lit )

but I don't know why some of the products show two prices with one underlined.

All the others categories should not show the same price twice.

Need help please (I don't know how to deal with the php code..)

Or could you fix it up for me (let me know in what condition you could do it for me)

why are u using VirtueMart 2.6.12.2... 

It is unsafe and the latest is http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/945/com_virtuemart.2.6.18.zip

If this is a bug it could easily be fixed in later versions

if not u need to look around the logic at ~ line 283 in components\com_virtuemart\views\category\tmpl\default.php

I updated Virtuemart, but I have one problem with two things that cannot be updated :
1.(VirtueMart3 plg_vmcustom_specification Update Site)
2.(VirtueMart plg_vmpayment_realex_hpp_api Update Site)

And I couldn't find the line 283.

There's no change right now.

Hello

I could be wrong but I think this comes from a rounding error tha Max fixed some time ago. If You change the price on this page:
http://ma-tete-de-lit.com/index.php/tetes-de-lit for "Tête de lit MORTAGNE - 160"  to the same price as  "Tête de lit FOURAS – 140/160" I Think You will get display of both prices. If no then I am on the wrong track.

Yes, it seems to be that.

I don't know how to use Virtuemart extension without template overwrites... I use Prostostar in this website.

Any help will be very welcome, it seems that I need  to test a standard template.
