Is it possible to upgrade the VM 2.6.6 TO VM 3.x ? I am a learner. My Joomla version is 2.5.28 Help me please.

personally I would go 2.6.6->2.6.14->3.0.2

try on a clone/backup - check for extension availability - that your template is 3.0.3 compatible - all the same advice as has been given 100 times on here
