Virtuemart 2 doesn't see any prices

Hello,

I know this is one of very many posts on such topic and believe me I did not just rush here to create a post without trying to fix and find the answer myself.

My virtuemart does not see any prices because:
1. When the checkbox "Show call for price, when the price is empty" is on, on the product page we see exactly this button. Prices are set for all the products in the settings for each product. No limitations on categories of users who can see them. when the checkbox is off, I can see add to cart button, with no price listed.
2. When at checkout, after adding products to the cart the price is 0 and no per unit price is recognized.

Current settings:
Joomla version 2.5.19
Virtuemart version 2.6.12.2
No custom fields
Prices are set up in quantity intervals (1-10;11-40 ect.)
Template: Joomla default

What I tried:
Changing settings in the pricing configuration, changing prices, changing template, logging in and logging out, googling my exact issue and trying simple tweaks. Didn't change anything in the backend.

What might have caused this:
I tried to put a different template for the store, but it didn't work out so I changed it to default.

Can provide screenshots if necessary. When originally migrated from Virtuemart 1 everything worked fine. Tried new template and lost prices everywhere.

so its your template one has to assume....

I would go back and get it working on Beez .. there are no bugs like this is a standard 2.6.12 install -- so the only other thing is your template
as you say - VM knows prices are there

Well yes, I think it was the template,  but I did try all the default ones and currently am using Joomla default(the same template I used before I tried the new one). So I am asking to help me revert everything back to normal, since a simple change of template doesn't do the trick.

The shop doesn't see my current prices at all. So I was wondering if there is something in the config file or something that probably got overwritten or something? Is there a way to reset settings without losing the data?

A re-install won't over write your data .. but make a backup or clone first

back it up- clone it - re-install
