Shop in 2 languages - products show up under both languages

My shop is set up in 2 languages. Created different products into each language and both have their own separate menu items and categories. All is ok when you click on a shop category - you see only a selection of products in this one selected language.

But when you click on the "Online Shop" link and go to VM front page then there is a mix of products visible from both languages.

How can I make a product show up only under one language and be hidden in the other? Could not see any such options under product settings. Thanks for your help!

I'm sorry, but at present I don't know a solution for your specific problem. It is possible to assign products to country-specific shopper groups, but I have no idea how to make that language-specific other than using seperate Joomla/VirtueMart installations for each language.
