No VirtueMart Categories in Main Page

Hi guys!

This is my very first post here. I am kind of new to website programming.

How can i Show VirtueMart Categories in the main page in the Products Section? I have VirtueMart active as main body. I have tried many options but so far none works.

the categories are the same as your VM cat menu module...

if you want imgs, desc  etc I guess you need a 3rd party module
