Unlink Child Product from Parent Product

Hi

So I created a Parent Product with 5 Child Products... and now I need one of those Child Products to NOT be linked to that Parent Product anymore, but I cannot find an option to do that!!   

How can I simply unlink that product and leave it as a "normal" non-child product? I even changed the category but it did not worked. Cloning it doesnt work either.   

I have searched and searched and found nothing recent about this issue in the Forums, Manuals, FAQs!!

Surely quicker to delete and remake as a stand alone product?

atm the simpelst is to set the parent id per sql to 0, sry...

For this we have this product, buy a silver and write in the checkout note that you need unlinking of the child product.

thanks, but imagine someone who has several products already posted and for whatever reason there is a need to unlink them from its parent, dont you find it ilogical and time-consuming to delete and recreate each and everyone of those products ?!! instead of simply click an option in the backend

Thanks for the tip regarding the sql editing. still not the best solution. but good to know for future references
