Display the shipping costs in the cart

I use Virtuemart for over a year for my online store and am very happy.
I now want to make some improvements, and need help.

How can I show the shipping as soon as the person consults his cart ?

how do you calculate shipping costs?


my shipping plugin will show on view of cart. BUT the zip code/ country etc. is not checked

as Pro says - if you have any filtering by zip, country etc or multiple methods then the shipping can never show until the address is given.. if you have a global rate for all shipping then remove any filtering and it should show

This plugin uses multiplication of the rate you set and the order weight.
It also has free shipping over certain order total.
But can it set a shipping fee under a certain order total ?

My shipping cost rule is quite simple:
- Orders between 0.75 € and 24.50 €  => shipping cost = 1.55 €.
- Beyond 24.5 €  => shipping cost = 0 €.

Is it possible ?
