Diacritics in url

Hello,
           in my language I use diacritics. When I save the product name with diacritics it is automatically generated to alias and the to url address, which I don't want.

For example I will name the product třetí product, thenmy alias is třetí-product nad not treti-product, which work fine in core Joomla, but not in Virtuemart.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
