One default price for a whole product category

Hi,
I wonder if it's possible to have one price as a default price for a whole product category, for example, pocket books price category 1 = $5, pocket books price category 2 = $10? I don't want to set the price for each item.
Does somebody knows if this are availible or will be availible or if some extension have this functionallity?

As you have to enter each product into the BE or they will not appear anyway I don't see what the issue is. And if the products are already entered and need bulk price changes you could do this by SQL through phpMyAdmin.
