Hi,

Could someone be kind enough to show me how Notify Me functionality in backend works, where it is located, or show me where it is documented (I cannot find any documentation in the VM Manuals)? I have the notify me button on my commercial template and by the looks of it, it also works in the frontend, but I do not find it in the back end.

Or is it so that an extension is necessary?

Hi,

if the product is not in stock and someone asks for product notification, so he appears on the Product Status tab in the Product page.

Once the product is in stock, so you can send out a notification to all people with any text.
