PayPal plugin shows the "Thank you for your order" before payment is completed

I thought my site was screwed up when I saw that the latest PayPal plugin and VM 2.0.26d briefly throws the user to the "Thank you for your order" page before an embedded re-direct shoves the user to PayPal to actually complete payment ( :o). This behavior screws up my iDev Affiliate sales tracking since iDev reasonably assumes that the "Thank you for your order" page means the order has already completed successfully. With the dodgy way that the PayPal plug is working, my affiliates get a commission notification even if the customer bails on the PayPal transaction.

Can I fix this? Will this be straightened out in a future update?

Hello
The behaviour of Paypal did not change.
What changed is that now we ave more options in the plugin.

The redirect to Paypal has always been done via the "Thank you page"
