Have payment method already selected in cart

Yea. I see this all over the forums but can't find a solution. 
I just finished upgrading and thought maybe it would work now but no.
What I worry about is when a customer gets to the payment page and enters their cc info for Authorize.net and they don't select the little "dot"
It just takes them back to the cart with no CC info...  Can some one direct me to maybe a post for this fix.

I do have Auto Payment select checked..'  and available to all.  and only one payment option
It works for my shipping.. Just not the payment
I only have one third party extension  Mijo Search

I found a couple topics on this and followed what has worked for some.. and not worked for most, like unpublished all the other VM payment plugins..  that didn't work either. I am left with only to create a language override for please select payment to please select the payment option then fill in your cc info.
Sad that most of our dropped carts are coming from this page...
