Hello,

I have recently installed virtuemart with danish language pack, and apart from one issue everything is working great.

On http://www.shoppingdeal.dk/component/virtuemart/fraekt-kostume-detail for an example, when the product is added to cart, I get a popup looking like the attached picture.

Basically it says in danish: "%2$s x %1$s was added to your cart"
And below it says it correctly in english, can I update my danish translation to work with virtuemart which is a few versions behind the translation?
What would be the correct way of adding the variables to my danish translation?

Thanks.

Looks like you have an old version of the danish language files. In the file

your-joomla-root-directory\language\da-DK\da-DK.com_virtuemart.ini

you should have this line:

COM_VIRTUEMART_CART_PRODUCT_ADDED="%2$s x %1$s blev tilføjet til din kurv."

However, I would suggest that you simply download and install the latest version of the danish translation here:

I just had a look at our translation https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/virtuemart/
Currently there are 54 untranslated lines in the danish translation. Perhaps you can register at transifex.com and help to complete it.

After registration you need to apply as a translator for VM core and VM Plugins and wait for the danish language coordinator to accept your application. Might take a few days. I don't know if he is online every day.
