Hi,
I did an update from version 2.0.0 to version Virtuemart 2.0.26d.
The Joomla version is 1.5.26.
I've run both the core and allinone.
After the updates I get a blank page, both in the frontend and in blackend.
Any idea?

Best Regards.

First the current versions will not run on J1.5.26 as J1.5 does not have the ACL used in J2.5. And jumping from 2.0.0 to latest is probably a couple of leaps too far, as there have been major changes over that time, and any template overrides used on the fist version will not work with current.

All the templating changes are covered in the live update info - see it at http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option=com_content&id=416

I'd advise first migrating to Joomla 2.5 then update VM to something like 2.0.8e then to 2.0.14 then 20.0.20b and finally 2.0.26d

Hello,

Are the following files the correct ones to install?

Downloaded from http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files

com_virtuemart.2.0.8e_extract_first.zip
com_virtuemart.2.0.8e_languages_extract_first.zip
com_virtuemart.2.0.8_layout_changes.zip
plgvm_virtuemart_paypal_vm2.0.8e_1.4.zip

com_virtuemart.2.0.14_extract_first.zip
com_virtuemart.2.0.14_layout_changes.zip
plgvm_virtuemart_paypal_vm2.0.14_1.4.zip

com_virtuemart.2.0.20b_extract_first.zip
plgvm_virtuemart_paypal_vm2.0.20_1.4.zip

com_virtuemart.2.0.26d_extract_first.zip

Would they be installed in the same order?

BTW: The link to the templating changes returns a 404.

com_virtuemart.2.0.8e_extract_first.zip
com_virtuemart.2.0.14_extract_first.zip
com_virtuemart.2.0.20b_extract_first.zip
com_virtuemart.2.0.26d_extract_first.zip

That will be the main component and the aio component for each. All updates should be made through Joomla 2.5's extensions manager.

It is good practice to make a backup at every version change.

Is all you need to do. Once you are at 2.0.26d you can check your site appearance and add latest language file if necessary.
