Server responds very slow on products admin page

When I go to the products admin page it takes 30 seconds the server to respond.
But if I set the page to display only 15 products, the loading time is acceptable, but it always switches back to 200 when I leave the page.
How could I set the page to always show only 15 products or how could I fix the loading delay?
