I have VM -version 2.0.24

While setting up/following the steps to enable Avalara tax plug-in I received this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method plgVmCalculationAvalara::setPluginLoggable() in /home2/adreanne/public_html/kymdolls.com/plugins/vmcalculation/avalara/avalara.php on line 52

I have followed the simple steps listed on the forum. However when I enable the plug-in I'm not able create any rule in the "Taxes & Calculation Rules".

I spoke with a rep at Avalara and he is trying to troubleshoot possible issues.

Is there anything else that needs to be done/downloaded or enable for this feature to work?

I have read most of the forums on this topic and nothing is working. I really need your help

Milbo

This is a very strange thing. I sounds like your version got not updated properly. setPluginLoggable is a very old function in vmpsplugin.php. You may check if it is there.
Please write your exact virtuemart version (just in case you can directly update to vm2.0.24b), your joomla version and your php version.

If you are doing the update, please disable Akeeba enhanced extensions installer or similar, use pure joomla installer. Maybe your problem is directly vanished.
Should I fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member
