VM2 - Order ID and Order Number are not the same

Hi, i have a strange issue after upgrading to VM2 from VM1, the order id and order number are not the same and are mixed up with other orders. (see screenshot)
i am using shipwork and i am getting a lot of problems because of this issue, it needs to have both the same number .
Is there anyway to fix this issue???

There is an option to keep the old oderIDs as numbers.

but order number is NOT order id. It was always wrong that vm1 displayed the order id.

Yes Milbo, thank you. i already figured out and notice that order id and order number are different in VM2 and there is no problem with that. it's the supporter from shipworks who mislead me to believe that that can cause problems, it was something else.
