Problem with ratings & reviews? (backend)

[Joomla 2.5.14, VirtueMart 2.0.24]

We are having a weird problem with the ratings & reviews system, in the back-end VM panel.

In short: the publish/unpublish action is not reliable. example: If we unpublish a review from the list, then by going to the individual review, it still remains published. The global reviews list is inconsistent with the individual product review list.

Does this fall into any known issues? Or do we have a potential database problem (from previous migrations this site has been through).
