getNeighborProducts error || red message on top of the product details site

Hi
As I upgraded my store to 2.0.22c (Joomla 2.5.6) the following error message occured on top of the product details page "getNeighborProducts error" (twice underneath each other in red with red background).
I cleared both the joomla backend cache and the browser cache but nothing changed.
It seems that the problem has to do with the products that are related to each other and normally are displayed at the bottom of this site. They are not visible.
Is there someone who could help me with that?
FYI: I have an overwrite of some files mainly the search result page because I wanted a picture being displayed there. But I dont think that this has something to do with that.

So you don't have template overrides for VM? You Joomla versions is not update, and not secure so.

which ordering for the products do you use? by name? price?

Milbo, the issue happens differently in different site. For some users face this problem when sorting my Manufacturer name is enabled, for some it is prices, for some it is product name etc. So it is not a specific sorting issue but a generic problem. Haven't managed to figure out where?

I receive the same error message, but only in firefox and NOT in IE ??!!

And in IE I have different set of bugs (no prices in shopping chart) but >getNeighborProducts error< is not seen.
