If they did that it might actually make more of a market for third party PayPal payment plugins.

There is always a lot of room for adding new features to plugins.

The plugins are all compatible with the HTTP 1.1 Specifications and will continue to work correctly after Oct 07

PayPal originally announced this on 18th of October, 2011. We had all our scripts checked for compatibility nearly two years ago.

Surprised that Virtuemart left it so late to make the changes to their plugins.
