Bidding(AUCTION) extension for virtuemart

I'm building an e commerce website using joomla 2.5 with virtuemart 2.0.22b . Do I need to use another extension for implement bidding function or can I implement bidding function using virtuemart itself ? Pls tell me how to do this.
