where are the sample images?

it been a while since I did a clean from scratch install of VM2, I usually work from clones..since VM2 is a pain to setup from absolute zero.


so today , I did a clean install of joomla 2.5.11 and a clean install of VM2 2.0.22a

installs went fine until I added the sample data to show a client.

then errors start pouring in.

for example:


        vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/print13/public_html/images/stories/virtuemart/category/hand_tools.jpg
        vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/print13/public_html/images/stories/virtuemart/category/power_tools.jpg
        vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/print13/public_html/images/stories/virtuemart/category/garden_tools.jpg
        vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/print13/public_html/images/stories/virtuemart/category/hand_tools.jpg
        vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/print13/public_html/images/stories/virtuemart/category/power_tools.jpg
        vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/print13/public_html/images/stories/virtuemart/category/garden_tools.jpg

these images arent even in those locations, those image names don't even exist in conjunction with the images in this fresh install.


I am disappointed, I should have just worked from a functional clone. VM2 although powerful is still the most confusing buggy cart I have ever worked with.

so what do I have to do to fix this?
