T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM - Update Failure

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /hsphere/local/home/flekser/orange20bikes.com/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/models/updatesmigration.php on line 303

Im not sure why this happened, but upon failing, broke my store. 

I now get...
- Category id 0 not published -  on the home page (oddly there does not even seem to be a category 0 in the category browser)

I also get a slew of errors should i navigate to any other category.

Any assistance on how to fix would be appreciated.  I'd rather not resort to a backup.

Fixed the site, reverted to 2.0.18a

Any help on how to fix the T_PAAAMAYIM error would be appreciated however as I would like to update the site to the new version.

It is related to having PHP5.2 on your server rather than the recommended 5.3+  so upgrade the server, or apply this fix for old versions ( http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=117072.msg395217#msg395217 ) or wait for 2.0.20a being tested right now which is backwards compatible with 5.2
