Insurance for shipping goods

Hi all

I've spent a good two weeks trying to find a solution to this.

Basically I need to work out x% on x invoice total up to x amount for insurance for different countries or zones.

For example, to ship to Greece, insurance is 3% and can only be insured up to R2000 (ZAR). So if their cart total is R1000 then we would add 3% for insurance. If their cart total is so high that the 3% exceeds R2000 then it caps the insurance amount at R2000.

I purchased Std Shipping Plus which helps a lot with weight ranges, zones and volumetric pricing, but there's no option in VM2 or any other addon for working out insurance on the total cart cost in percentage, with a cap value.

I understand this might require custom coding - if there's no solution, I am willing to accept quotes to do something like this for me.
