Create product for paint pots

Hi, I have a customer that sells paint pots with 3 size (S, M and L). The price for the S is 8 euros, 15 for M and 20 for L. What is the better way to create this article with this prices?

I use Virtuemart 2.0.20b. I create custom field named Size, a product named Paint Pot White with final price 0 and assigned 3 times the custom field for S with 8 in the price, M with 15 in the price and L with 20 in the price but if product final price (the price in the first tab) then I can't buy this product in the front end.

If I write for example 8 in the final price, I can't write 0 in the custom field S, when I apply the changes Virtuemart write 8 in S automatically...

What is the correct way to create this products so the customer can easily maintain?

I haven't come across this before yet, but I would assume these would be separate sku's per size?
