License / pin codes

I'm rapidally losing my will to live on this one!
Does any one have a soluution on how to sell license/pin/serial codes on a product.
I want  to be able to upolad a spreadsheet of codes and link it to a product.
When a customer buys the product they are emailed a unique code from the spreadsheet.
There is a module called Pin Codes 1.1.0  which although has to be installed manually sounds ideal but it is not compatable with Virtuemart 2.
If anyone has a proceedure for version 2 I would be extremely gratefull to be pointed in the correct direction.
