Problems in quantity stock

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my virtuemart 2.0.20b:

I make an example for better explain the situation:

-I have a product with children that have stockable variants attribute.
-One of this child have 2 of stock quantity.
-I add 3 of these products in the cart,VM notify me that the maximum quantity is 2,and adds 2 products in the cart.
-I add again the same product in the cart,and VM permit this!So the situation in the cart is:

-Product XYZ,Quantity:2
-Product XYZ,Quantity:1

And the customer continues in the checkout buying a quantity of product that I don't have in stock!

How I can fix this problem?

Another thing that I don't understand is that some products have negative quantity..why?There is a relationship between the negative quantity and the possibility to add product that aren't in stock?

What happesn with 2.0.21c? Maybe that is already the solution

Ok,I have the italian version of Virtuemart,can I install the version 2.0.21c without losing the language?

I'm installed the new version in italian (2.0.22a) and this update has solved the problem.Thanks very much for your assistance!

Hello ,
Today I updated to virtuemart 2.0.22a english version (with Joomla! 2.5.11) but it hadn't solved the problem that  was described above by Novy . It still lets me to add to cart child products and  buy a quantity of product that I don't have in stock!
Also Current Stock Level doesn't updated although the order status was set to "is removed" in stock handling in order status configuration. This problem doesn't exists in parent products that doesn't have child products.
