Guest checkout create user - problem

Hi,

I have a site with VM 2.0.18a and Joomla 2.5.8. The problem is that when a user check out as guest, VM creates a user with the email provided by user, even if no password was requested to the user. This raises 2 problems:
1. When the customer returns and wants to register from registration page, he gets the error of already used email address
2. When that user returns and make an order, but this time choose to make an account from the checkout page, the site gives joomla error page with the title
42 - Failed to update contact: COM_CONTACT_WARNING_SAME_NAME

I'm using a purchased template. Could it be from template?  They seem not to care too much about support (5 days waiting already)
Is it normal for VM to create a user from checkout page?

I've found a solution: to deactivate the Contact creator plugin and it seems to work. Now I don't receive any errors and also it doesn't create a new user for the guest email address.

Ah - I always have that plugin turned off anyway. That's why I could not recreate your problem, so thanks, I'll remember that. Good to know you found the solution.
